The Plantronics USB Bulk Driver is a product of Plantronic Inc, manufactured to support the operation of headphones and other audio devices manufactured by the same category. Although most of the USB audio drivers produced by the company support the plug-and-play format, some do not, thus raising the need for drivers. The manufacturer usually provides the driver to buyers of the audio devices on an installation disk. However, the same can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. Third party websites also provide the drivers, although one should always consult with the manufacturer's website, in order to know if the provided version is the most recent. Earlier version of the driver should not be used as they can create conflict on the host machine. Like other hardware component that a user adds to the computer, the USB device too cannot operate maximally without proper driver installation.
